ABOUT THE PROJECT
You’ll be joining a leading payment processing company that builds secure, scalable, and efficient solutions powering financial transactions worldwide. The platform supports everything from online and mobile payments to card transactions, ACH transfers, NSF returns, and software integrations. Right now, the team is focused on enhancing the core system with new features — and that’s where you come in. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you’ll help shape the next stage of a platform trusted by businesses to handle payments reliably and securely.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, develop, and implement new features using Ruby on Rails.
- Build and maintain database structures with MySQL, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and efficient solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
YOUR KEY SKILLS
- Proven professional experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer.
- Strong hands-on expertise with MySQL (queries, optimization, schema design).
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, RESTful APIs, and backend development.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile development practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with payment processing systems (e.g., payment gateways, transaction flows, fraud prevention).
- Familiarity with financial security standards (PCI DSS, encryption, compliance).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
