CSR activities in the first half of 2026

Six months. A lot of different CSR activities.
Some happened in our office. Others took place in schools, parks, festivals, or on the other side of the world. They don't all look the same, but they have one thing in common: people trying to leave something a little better than they found it.
Here's what that looked like during the first half of 2026.
On the side of humanity
Some partnerships are built over many years. Our collaboration with the Human Rights League continues because their work helps people rebuilding their lives find legal advice, practical guidance, and a fresh start.
There was also another event - The Night of the Refugee walk in the Netherlands, that pulled in thousands of people, each walking their own route for the same reason: supporting people who've had to leave everything behind.
Every statistic represents a real person with their own story, and it's important to help this work continue. Want to be part of it too? Here's the link.

Prevention starts with awareness
After supporting the work of Onkomamky and Onkožienky, they prepared an open conversation about cancer prevention and regular self-checks. It wasn't always easy to listen to their personal stories, but they reminded us that listening to our own bodies can be life-changing. Sometimes, taking care of yourself starts with a single conversation.

Approaching the world like a detective
Some people stop at the first answer. Others keep asking questions until everything clicks. That's the mindset we share with Dr. Michaela Musilová. It's also why we partnered with her again this year, to support education, scientific research, and the curiosity that drives both.
Whether it's science or software, big things start by asking the right questions.
Shared values
Our partnership with the Stop Corruption Foundation is built on a shared belief that transparency, accountability, and open dialogue help create a stronger society. Whether through conversations, educational initiatives, or long-term collaboration, we value the work they do every day. Want to participate? Check it out for yourself.

Helping people connect
Pucung Festival runs on conversations that aren't always comfortable, and that's kind of the point. In a world where it's easy to stay in our own bubble, events that encourage open dialogue and different perspectives matter more than ever. That's why we supported this year's festival.
Last year, the festival app was built from scratch. This year, it got better. Clearer programme? Check. Easier to find your way between stages? Check. Less time spent staring at a schedule instead of the person next to you. That was the whole goal, really. Less fumbling with logistics, more room for the actual talking. Did it work for you?
A better future for stray animals
One initiative turned into two, then three, and hopefully more. Our colleagues in Argentina organized spay and neuter campaigns that gave dozens of stray dogs and cats the care they otherwise wouldn't have received. By supporting responsible animal care today, we can help reduce the number of animals born into difficult conditions tomorrow. Prevention really does matter.

Young minds, big ideas
Robotics continues to amaze us, especially when it's driven by young minds. This year, we continued cheering on LegoTeam Medzany during their journey to Greece for the FIRST LEGO League Open. They didn't bring home a trophy, but competing alongside teams from around the world was an achievement in itself. It was also a great opportunity to exchange ideas, practice English, and make new friends.
Another initiative close to us is the World Robot Olympiad. This year, the national finals took place right here in Košice, where talented students from across Slovakia turned ideas into working robots. The best teams even earned a place in next year's international finals in Costa Rica. And let's be honest, it sounds like a pretty great prize. 😄

Keeping nature cleaner
For one afternoon, we swapped our desks for gloves and trash bags. Together with Green Society, we joined a clean-up in Košice's Anička park and left it a little cleaner than we found it. It only took a few hours and a few bags of rubbish to improve the place for everyone who comes after us. So, genuine question: where does your trash actually end up?
Opening doors through Girl's Day
Girls' Day gave high school students the opportunity to step inside our office and see what working in IT looks like. Instead of stereotypes, they learnt that IT is made up of many different roles, with women working across all of them. Through teamwork, creativity, and hands-on activities, they got a glimpse of what building software is really about. Sometimes, all it takes is one visit to make the tech world feel a little closer.
A small ribbon with an important message
On 17 May, Rainbow Ribbon pins showed up on a few jackets around the office. Small thing, easy to miss if you weren't looking for it. The day has a long name, International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, and one obvious point. A lot of people still have to think twice about being open at work, at home, on the street.
That same commitment also led us to support PRIZMA, a community and counselling centre in Košice that provides a safe space, professional guidance, and community activities for LGBTI+ people.
A pin doesn't fix that. It's just a way of saying you noticed, and that the other 364 days count too.
More than just 2%
The 2% contribution this year is going toward Matúšov svet, supporting a four-year-old named Matúš. The therapies he needs aren't covered by insurance. They're the kind of thing that falls entirely on the family unless someone else steps in.
So someone stepped in. And we are not alone. Hopefully, donations will make everyday challenges a little easier for him and his family.
The mission doesn’t stop here…
And that's only the first half of the year.
Some stories ended here. Others are still unfolding. We don't know what the next six months will bring, but we do know one thing: there's always another question to ask, another conversation to have, or another opportunity to help someone along the way.
We're curious to see where the second half of 2026 takes us.
